- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I have to say, being my first time in the shop, I had a wonderful experience. No one ever wants to be in the position to have to get a pawn loan, but the reality is, many people are. Kudos to the staff member behind the counter for helping me out. I had a pleasant experience and it was a pleasure to do business here. PS, could've spoke for hours with the gentleman's mother behind the counter! So sweet! Real at home feeling coming in here, and much more convenient than the Danbury Pawn shops! Update.... this was a previous 5 star review... now becoming a 1 star review thanks to some fairly terrible customer service received today. I needed to pick up one of the two items I had pawned. My boyfriend called ahead of time and was told this was fine and we had until the 12th to get the other item. When he showed up to pick up the item, he was told no he had to take both. Seeing as we came from Danbury to do this before having to be to work this was extremely frustrating. I will be picking up both of my items asap and will not be returning to this pawn shop. Having been a broker (now retired) of precious metals for years, I guarentee this is the place you want to scrap for the honesty you can depend on and the highest scrap prices around. ALWAYS ASK if you go somewhere eles "what do you pay for a gram? or What do you pay for a pennyweight? Then ask them. They have never disappointed me. I cannot stand to see ANY neg reviews of this place because in my experience,it has always been a perfect. I am a regular and loyal customer:-) p.s. You anonymous "google users" leaving neg comments are obviously not very intelligent. Your complaints show where your common sense lies and speaking of lies. Peter Klick...woah!!
